Description

Birth certificate is issued in the hospital in which the delivery took place. The certificate is being issued in Arabic and English languages. ,The birth certificate includes all the child data.

Required Documents

To issue a birth certificate
Citizens:
- Original ID card or family book (for both mother and father)
- Original marriage certificate and in the event of marriage certificate issued outside the country, it is duly authenticated or marriage document or certificate or acknowledgment from the parents of the child`s lineage, authenticated by the embassy of the country they belong to or by a notary public.
- Original birth notification stamped by the health facility.
- Upload documents after checking the originals by the health facility

Residents:
- Original Emirates ID or passport (for both mother and father)
Marriage outside the country is duly authenticated or marriage document or certificate or acknowledgment from the parents of the child`s lineage, authenticated by the embassy of the country they belong to or by a notary public.
- Original live birth notification stamped by the health facility .
- Upload documents after checking the originals by the health facility

For lost replacement
Citizens/Residents:
- Submit the application through the website by the father or mother
- Attach a copy of the Emirates ID or passports of both the father and mother
- A police letter is requested regarding the loss of the certificate if a copy of the lost certificate is not available.

Reissue copies of the birth certificate
Citizens/Residents:
- Submit the application through the website by the father or mother
- Attach a copy of the certificate in the system
- Attach a copy of the Emirates ID or passports of both the father and mother

Preparation Steps

- Creating the birth Notification and attaching the original documents to the electronic system by the health facility after checking the original documents.

Fee Details

Each certificate charge 70 AED for all services
