Description

A training program for the doctors who have completed the training requirements in the internship program (general medicine and dentistry) to obtain field training in health facilities accredited by the Authority in programs accredited by local, regional and international accreditation bodies that qualify them and obtain a specialty certificate (board certificate).

6 ECE report (for graduates outside UAE)
7 PSV report for all certificates
8 National Service completion/exemption (UAE males)

Preparation Steps

Academic Requirements:
Graduate of a WHO?listed medical school
Completion of 12?month internship after passing final MBBS/MD exams
Pass EMREE
ECE certificate required for graduates outside the UAE
No clinical gap > 12 months (except National Service or COVID?19)
Notarized English translation for non?Arabic/English documents
Full?time enrollment only (no simultaneous postgraduate programs)
Final admission subject to DHA licensure

English Language Requirements:
English language Proficiency Certificate for degree granted outside the UAE
1.TOEFL= 550 or above
2.IELTS Academic = 6 or above
3.OET= 300 (C+ in all categories)

Exemptions:
Graduated from UAE institutions
with official letter confirming English?medium instruction

Portfolio Requirements:
(All activities must be since entry to medical school and officially dated)

Research activities:
Publications in peer?reviewed journals
Scientific presentations (conferences/symposia/workshops)
Health?related community/voluntary activities
Skill enhancement courses (e.g., BLS, ACLS, POCUS)
Academic awards
Extra?curricular activities (clinical attachments, teaching, councils)
